The Passat is a spacious vehicle perfect for my family of 4 to explore NZ with a large boot space. The 1400 TFSi petrol engine has loads of grunt and the fuel economy is amazing. Handling is superb and super comfy. Would recommend this car to any family.

The 2.0 TDI 125KW is surprisingly powerful, most importantly, however, has a good deal of torque that helps pull the car up hills with no issues. Very precise handling - the same as what you could expect from a sedan (mine is a wagon). Turning circle is good. Steering is nicely weighted. I think mine is a highline (actually not sure) but a good amount of technology, nice phone integration (via Bluetooth). Decent economy (latest run was sitting at 6.7L/100km. Wagon has exceptional boot space. So far, am pleased with the vehicle and how it performs.
